APL Education Center : Several APL educational programs for students of every level extend public service contributions well beyond the confines of research and development efforts.

Whiting School of Engineering :In collaboration with The Johns Hopkins University Whiting School of Engineering, the Laboratory offers part-time graduate programs in engineering through the APL Education Center.

APL's Minority Education Initiatives : APL invests in the education of its own staff and the neighboring community by providing scholarships and summer internships for minority students pursuing a graduate degree in engineering and science.
