My research interests include modeling the open field line particle precipitation; modeling the magnetotail pressure, density, and temperature; radiation belt environment; plasma transport in the Earth's and Saturn's magnetospheres, solar wind- magnetosphere interaction; space weather, and solar cycle dynamics. NOAA and AFWA adapted my Kp forecast models. I have published over 100 papers and given over 300 presentations at national/international scientific meetings, including over 50 invited talks and a keynote speech.
